We held a roundtable during OTC Brazil discussing the advances, initiatives, and results achieved in the GOLD Program (Gas Oil Logging while Drilling), a result of a partnership between ANP – National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Biofuels’ R&D projects and Repsol Sinopec Brazil.
In the roundtable, our CEO Leonardo De Montalvão, MBA, our data geoscientist Marcos Jacinto, and our partners from Repsol Sinopec Brazil, Rafael Valladares de Almeida and Alberto J. García, discussed the applications and future projections for the GOLD Program. Topics of discussion included successful cases in onshore and offshore validations of the Wellex GOLD and AUTOMUD systems, with applications of Machine Learning (ML), Cloud Computing, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to promote greater agility and efficiency in geological analyses, process optimization, and real-time formation evaluation.
The ecosystem of technologies resulting from the GOLD program has been selected as a finalist for the 2023 ANP Technological Innovation Award. It is another validation of our commitment to the development of technological and innovative solutions for the oil and gas industry.
